The second number in jean sizing refers to leg length (e.g. 25/34 = waist 25, leg 34”).
Flare and trouser jeans are designed to sit over your boots, not bunch at the ankle. If they’re longer than your inside leg measurement, they will drag rather than scrunch.

• For everyday wear: choose your true inside leg measurement.
• For riding: consider going longer and cuffing the hem when walking.
• To measure: measure from crotch to floor in inches (32” leg = size 32, 33” leg = size 34).
